If you like speedy and muscle car then you will have to see the new 2014 Dodge Barracuda. By information gathered on the internet, the new 2014 Dodge Barracuda will, in short time, replace the newly redesigned Dodge Challenger. Will this be true, we will have to wait till the end of 2013 year or beginning of 2014 year.

It has to be mentioned that this car will  have new look and technical specification will be more extreme. Dimension of new 2014 Dodge Barracuda are not revealed but it will be greatly shorter, for about 8 inches, than existing Dodge Challenger. Also there will be greater weight reduction. The 2014 Dodge Barracuda will be 250 to 300 pounds lighter and it’s looks may be similar to the Plymouth Barracuda model car. This great muscle car will probably use Alfa-Romeo’s D-size platform and this is because Dodge plans to implement new bodywork technology.

Dodge manufacturer has considered the new standards and CAFÉ regulations and because of that the new 2014 Dodge Barracuda will have better fuel efficiency and lower value of CO2 emissions. It is said that this car will have two versions of engines. Engines that might be used on 2014 Dodge Barracuda are supercharged Hemi 6.2 liter engine which develops 540hp, 2.4 liter Tigershark V4 engine, and direct injection 3.6 liter V-6 Pentastar engine.

All there specification mean that this will be extremely good looking muscle car which price will be around $60,000. Release date hasn’t been given but some info and rumors say it will be released late this year. Predictions are that when it comes to the market it will be big and firs competitor to the Camaro ZL1 and other cars in this segment.
